lock 28-33

I was recently made aware of your search for Josh through my friend sharing it on here & displaying posters in her salon so, my first thought is, keep sharing...the appeal will get around to everyone, everywhere eventually. My husband has shared on Twitter, he has 2500 followers that are mainly from Birmingham and the West Midlands but you never know who will see it. I have been moved by Josh's story for a number of reasons so, as I had some time today, I took my dog and we walked along a small part of the canal. I just wanted to do something and thought a fresh pair of eyes from the place he was last seen on CCTV might help. I don't have a map of the walk but we went from lock 28 to lock 33, I had a good look where I could and spent some time looking in the wooded area to the left of lock 33. My only thoughts on this small search area are ones that have, no doubt, already been suggested and investigated...the houses where their windows are directly on the path, the houses/flats that overlook the canal on both sides, the businesses on the opposite side where there were a few people about outside, the locked up/unused boats and the area that is fenced off with a pond in to the right of lock 30 on the way to the bridge/train line. I was unsure if the fields/woods to my left were private or not but I met a lovely lady handing out missing posters who said they'd all been searched. I can't go out again until Monday, I really hope you have found him by then but if not we'll carry on from where I left off today. Unless of course there is other, more urgent areas to be searched by then. My thoughts are with you all at this heart breaking time x

From what I can see of the locks on the map this is the Star Inn to Meaford bridge.
