I have everything crossed that today is the day you find Josh. Really hope the police lead ends the search. Ever since I had a potential sighting, it really made me think about what you all must be going through and it must be unbearable. There is one thing for certain and that is Josh has touched many people's hearts and for that you all must be so proud. If only we had a better mental health support system. Good luck
Totally agree... so many cut backs affect us with mental health problems. ❤
It's very harsh, the lack of help out there. It's such a shame for all those affected.
Very true. Never stop talking about it tho....as people tend to bottle things up...fearing judgements of others.. suffering with mental health issues isnt talked openly about enough....in my oppinion...
I had that issue at first. It put me into a very negative place. I now speak openly about it, and it does indeed feel as though a weight is lifted from inside, each and every time. Every day is still a struggle, but now I know more about getting passed it.
Never give up.. your little boy is gorgeous.. loose yourself in being a fab daddy.
Sorry for jumping on someone else's post but I too have suffered with mental health for last 15 yrs as have some of our children, it's very debilitating some days. My children keep me going as you've said Simon, as does my husband. I feel very lucky. The mental health service is only getting worse despite gov bills to improve it :( why don't they listen to families and people ;( maybe the family wouldn't be in this terrible position they are in now.....I just wanted to highlight how common it is to have mental health issues and how josh isn't alone....some more common ground. Simon, research self-referral, some places do accept this, not sure IAPT do but they are another place to look at, or as you already have other health issues, perhaps discuss a referral from your specialist rather than your GP if you feel your getting nowhere....just an idea. Keep going, our children need us.
Thank you, I shall have a look into that.
good luck Simon and keep strong
