some questions from 06/11/16

I've driven from wolstanton to Sandon today and the amount of forest/ fields lands etc is unbelievable. Is there a search team that we could find with sniffer dogs etc as in corrie McKeagues case. They are called sulsar I think and a gifting page was set up to pay for it. I'd be more than willing to donate xxx stay strong x

most of the replies and comments are about people willing to donate to a just giving page.

it is, we do A34 all the way to eccleshall rd Stafford and the lanes, woods and fields are overwhelming!! We only said this on fri, we took eldest and youngest sons with us and hubby was driving, me passenger side and the whole way there and back we each watched a side of the road all the way there and back in hopes of seeing something.....

What about his local cemetery.could he be in there..I know it's silly and it's also the last place you would look for a body but it's worth a shot.

Local cemetery has been searched.

Is there any possibility josh could have headed towards the garden centre/bury bank/ swynerton area? I'm very familiar with all the land there and would be more than happy to spend the day out looking today if it will help in those areas?

It can't do any harm. We're heading onto Tittensor Chase tomorrow.

Ok if there's an area I could be of more use with two dogs then please say- just thought with me knowing swynerton and lord Staffords estate so well it can't do any harm

I think that you should definitely look especially if you know the land. We headed that way on a run last Sunday. A more detailed look would be fantastic.

Bury bank has been thoroughly searched, but and other area with trees and undergrowth in swynnerton would be great help. If you can let us know areas searched also can add it to the map x

Please remember to ask permission to go onto lord Stafford's land, this is a SHOOT weekend and a group could off got hurt yesterday x

I know Lesley I know all the land they shoot over as I do a lot of work on Lord Staffords estate and have been involved with the shoot there. I plan to look from the garden centre along m6 and towards highlos farm etc so won't cause any disruption.

well that's fine if you have asked permission I also was at the shoot yesterday and I can assure you anyone who is on the land and searching needs permission from now on as lord and lady where very upset at the actions yesterday

Well if he being such a arse about access may be he should get his own estate staff to search his land they know it better than anyone

Totally agree , it is not the time for being arsey with local people when a young man is missing. I understand it is his property and land and of course people should seek permission before going onto his land but you would think he would be more co-operative. What is more important a shoot or finding a missing 27 year old?

Well i can only apologise for the way you feel the most important thing is it's His Lordships Private Land , And he had shoot,,,, lucky no one got shot ..... ask the Estate Office for permission at a regulated time..... problem solved... we do not need anymore casualties....involved

I'm a game keeper my self so I know very well the ins and outs of safety regarding driven shooting. Also the disruption and damage people can cause when they are on land they perhaps shouldn't be. But I also cannot even begin to imagine what the familyof this young man are going through! I know if it was a family member or friend of mine i would want him found at whatever cost. I know his lordship personally and also mr Jeffreys and im sure with communication they would be more than happy to assist anyone in helping to find him. Don't get arguing on here or I'll just delete the post. There's a time and a place.

Exactly Harry so walking into a shoot on a Saturday while it is live is not a good thing, this is about finding Josh safely ...... Paul the game keeper has been very understanding but like he said it's his duty...... please ask permission , as it was out off order on Saturday x

Hannah can I just ask, was Joshua's last official sighting still following his usual route to work or not? I'm trying to think logically about it all as sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can give different perspective

Hi felicity, last confirmed is him walking down Copeland drive towards the canal. We believe he then went over the a51 into the little patch of woodland before the back entrance of Aston Marina, however don't have confirmation of this x

Hope you find him safe and well. The sightings on 29th Oct, are they confirmed as being him? Which direction was he heading? Has CCTV been checked at local train/bus stations?

Thanks for the information. I'm just sat with my family thinking about all this and trying help at this sad time, and I know you've probably already thought of this but what if Joshua just continued to walk past his place of work and further towards Stafford and Weston, Amerton Farm and Hixon? X x

CCTV in those areas has been reviewed, we've also had volunteers and family our in those areas searching xx

Is there a part of the marina land, that is not public, that josh may know doesn't get used very much by staff, and visitors not permitted? Also maybe the vicinity of granddads resting place, if within walking distance could be worth checking, if not already covered. Thinking of you all x x

/react-text Search and rescue, family and volunteers have scoured those places thank you xx

/react-text I thought you probably would have covered that area already hun, just thought better mention it. Stay strong sweetie. Praying for you and your family and sending you strength and love. Xxx

StartFragmentIt would make sense to cross the A51 and avoid being seen by passing motorists, many who would be local to the area.EndFragment

StartFragmentThe A51 had been closed Dave so not much traffic is coming through now.EndFragment

StartFragment react-text: 708 /react-text Hi Vicky, the bit of the a51 we think josh crossed over is still open, it's closed further down xxxEndFragment

StartFragmentYes Han but it has stopped a lot of traffic coming through as you can only go as far as turning up the road by the scrap yard. So people wanting to get past the Marina can't. I guess if this hadn't happened then we would of got a lot more traffic passing through as that junction is really bad at that time in a morning and may be some one would of seen Josh. X youEndFragment

StartFragmentHas the scrap yard been checked? EndFragment

StartFragmentWell the police have a lead so I hope it's the right lead. The lead that the police have has this been searched already HannahEndFragment

EndFragment

StartFragmentHow busy is the canal towpath in that area eg cyclists, dog walkers etc?.EndFragment

StartFragmentVery quiet xEndFragment
